These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the website and automated biomechanical analysis platform operated by Tijmen van Arkel ("we", "us", or "Service"). By creating an account or uploading a video to the platform, you ("User") agree to be bound by these Terms. You confirm this by ticking the acceptance box when you sign up. You can save or print these Terms at any time, and we will send you a copy on request.
How we handle your personal data is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of how you use the Service.
The Service provides automated biomechanical feedback on football freekicks using computer vision, pose-estimation software, and automated algorithmic models. All analysis, joint-angle calculations, and feedback scores are generated automatically by software, without human review. A person may look at an uploaded video only in limited cases, such as to check for abuse or content that breaks these Terms, to fix a technical problem, or to answer a support request from you.
You must be at least 16 years old to register and use the Service on your own behalf. If you are under 16, a parent or legal guardian must create and manage the account for you. You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
To ensure proper processing, all videos submitted to the platform must strictly adhere to the following technical and content requirements:
We reserve the right to delete or reject any submitted video that fails to meet these requirements, and we will tell you when we do so where reasonably possible.
By uploading a video, you represent and warrant that you own the rights to the video or have explicit permission from the depicted person to upload it to the platform. If the person shown is under 16, you confirm that you are their parent or legal guardian or have their parent or guardian's permission. You guarantee that your upload does not infringe upon the intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights of any third party.
Critical Assessment Required: The output, similarity metrics, joint angle data, and feedback generated by the Service are for informational and educational reference purposes only. Automated processing may contain inaccuracies, errors, or distortions due to camera angles, lighting, frame rates, or software limitations.
The output does not constitute professional sports coaching, biomechanical medical diagnostics, or physical therapy advice. Please evaluate all feedback critically before changing your movement patterns, and speak to a qualified coach or medical professional if you have an injury, pain, or health concerns. Any training or movement changes you choose to make are your own responsibility, within the limits of section 8 and of mandatory law.
To the maximum extent permitted by mandatory Dutch law (including Articles 6:236 and 6:237 of the Dutch Civil Code):
The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted, defect-free, or fully secure operation, but we will make reasonable efforts to keep it running and to fix problems.
We may update or change the Service, or suspend features, for good reasons such as security, legal requirements, or technical improvements. We will give you reasonable advance notice of material changes that negatively affect your use of the Service, for example by email or a notice on the website. If you do not agree with a material change, you may stop using the Service and close your account.
We may also change these Terms. We will announce material changes at least 30 days before they take effect. If you do not agree, you can close your account before then; if you keep using the Service afterwards, the updated Terms apply to you. Changes never apply to videos you uploaded before the change in a way that is less favourable to you than the Terms in force at the time of upload.
You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you seriously breach these Terms, upload prohibited content, attempt to bypass system security, or misuse the automated video processing system. Where reasonably possible, we will tell you why and give you a chance to respond first, except when immediate action is needed to protect the Service or other people.
These Terms are governed by Dutch law. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of mandatory consumer law of the country where you live. Disputes arising from or in connection with these Terms will be submitted to the District Court of The Hague (Rechtbank Den Haag), unless mandatory consumer rules give you the right to bring the dispute before another competent court.
